GVM is the total weight your rig can handle, fully loaded, as specified by the manufacturer. Think of it as your vehicle’s weight limit when packed to the brim.

Federal or State Approval?
It depends on whether your vehicle is registered. For never-before-registered vehicles, Federal approval applies, and your GVM kit will include an additional compliance plate.
